With the IFA HD Home Cinema Resort 2006, KINZO realized this year's trade show stand as a bungalow with ample patio and garden space; 25 individually fitted HDTV screens integrated allover.
The design concept is based on the thought of a lovely weekend home at the sea. The trade show stands opens up to three of its sides inviting passerbys to enter and experience HDTV close up. The swimming pool functions as the central event area set between the bungalow on one side and the bar on the other side. The visibility of the bungalow is enhanced by the bleacherlike foundation it is set upon. Bedroom, den and kitchen provide a feeling of personal comfort, the screens well integrated functioning as fire place, oven or even as the fish tank.
The bar with its video projection screen resembles a racy sailing yacht. Patio swing and golf cart are as much part of the holiday presentation as are barbecue grille, deck chairs and parasols with integrated 'sun' screens. Subtle direction of passerby flow is achieved by arrangement of ground coverings. Open space, solid integration of technology and straight design sets this stand apart from its technocratic surroundings and presents an experiencable re-visit to last year's trade show stand.
