Bild Editorial Staff – Production Room

The Newsroom, headquarters of the editorial staff for Germany's leading tabloid and Europe’s largest Newspaper ‘Bild,’ is the mother ship of publishing giant Axel Springer.
A Room built like a 3D-organigram, designed to enhance communication and workflow.
As the very core, KINZO created a huge double-winged, V-shaped production table, that will accommodate BILD chief editor Kai Diekmann, his deputy and the head of the online issue at its top end, while the department directors, art director, photo directors, duty editor and legal experts are gathered at its wings – in total a team 25, seated at a single table.
The monitors, mounted on the ceiling, formed into dynamic groups displaying the current stages of layout as well as several TV news channels, accentuate the form and function of the Bild ‘Bridge’. The editors of the sports section take their seats at a radically new piece of furniture. Its outline resembles the shape of a jet fighter, resting on tilted “wing tips” at both sides. Also here, the jet fighter’s outline is functional and symbolic at the same time. Flanked by an array of KINZO AIR work stations the newsgroup ‘Bild’ flies towards rapid news bulletins.
