Beate Uhse TV 2006
One of the highlights of this year's erotic fair and trade show, Venus, was the trade show stand Kinzo designed for the Pay-TV station Beate Uhse TV. Dancing erotic stars are presented on a raised and well-illuminated platform unobstructedly drawing the focus of passerbys and inviting them to stay and watch the choreographic presentation in an environment ideal for amateur and press photographers.
KINZO utilizes spacial contrast: A central, sculptural stage creates an energizing force field for show and glamour; dancing presenters release the spark that ignites a fire; functional zones are derivates of the presentation center. Business talk can ensue either in a reclined and relaxed or a stiffly upright position. Technology and merchandising as well as the changing room for the dancers have been unobstrusively incorporated.
Futuresquely simple and elegantly straight, the stand rises above the dingy murkiness of amateur basement furnishing.
The design concept is modelled after Luke Skywalker, an 18th century chandelier, the interior of a regular cab and a Citroen BX GTI.
